God Sightings

East Osceola County FCA

East Osceola county has consistently been serving over 600-650 students weekly between 4 school huddles! At a Southland multi-sport huddle, we saw 23 students make a decision for Christ, and Harmony High 's multi-sport huddle is steadily increasing with up to 400 students between 2 lunches!

Brandon Crompton, pictured below, has shifted from East Seminole Area Director to become Metro Director for all of Seminole County and this month he gathered donors from all over the county to come and share updates and God Sightings. Brandon said his favorite part about the dinner was having 20+ students, a few from each school, at the dinner. They mingled, shared what God is doing at their schools and served dessert together. It was wonderful seeing everyone come together and share how God has been working in Seminole County over the years.

God is moving in a mighty way in East Volusia County!!! We are seeing coaches and athletes growing in their relationship with Christ and stepping into purpose as they lead with integrity on their campuses! We were able to start the year off with a bang as we gathered student leaders from all over our area for a REFUEL and E3 training! This was an opportunity to equip our students with the tools to win this second semester on their campus!

At Daytona State College we have partnered with an amazing young lady named Yaya, who is the media and journalism director for the athletic department. She, along with her team, have started our first FCA campus huddle at DSC, now averaging 120 students weekly, and they recently put on their very first FCA worship night (Seen in the images)! It was an amazing outreach to the campus as their numbers continue to grow on a weekly basis. These are just a few highlights of the things God is doing on the coast of ECFL through FCA.

West Orange County FCA

West Orange County FCA is experiencing tremendous growth and participation on all school campuses. We are currently serving over 3000 students and coaches weekly, which created a need for us to increase our response to better serve our schools. Please welcome two new staff members to our team, Jonathan Fitzgerald and Tanner Ming! These two young men of God have hearts serve our schools as they engage in Christ's mission to go make disciples. They have had an immediate impact with students on our campuses, and it is a blessing to have them join our team!

In addition, FCA campus student leaders have been invited to participate in our FCA E3 discipleship training program which teaches them how to be more effective on their campuses when sharing the gospel and teaching other students what it looks like to live a life surrendered to God!

There is currently a massive movement toward Jesus Christ in West Orange County... and FCA has been blessed with the support to help lead that charge!

On March 7th, We had over 250 people gathered at the East Seminole Fields of Faith. With students represented from every high school in East Seminole County, and 9 different churches coming together. The night felt really special from the start. People were hanging out & connecting with all the churches, they were eating Pizza Hut and Mission BBQ, laughing, playing games, & winning prizes!

One of the most powerful parts of the night was hearing 3 students share their testimonies with everyone. When the Gospel invitation was given, people left the bleachers to come down to the track & responded in a real and powerful way. Some made the decision to follow Jesus for the very first time, and others chose to take their faith more seriously and go deeper.
